Arrowroot
Arrowroot is a fine, white, odorless powder. It is used in skin care and hygiene products as it has emollient properties. Arrowroot contains many good minerals and vitamins such as zinc, iron, potassium and vitamin B6 and is known to provide relief from skin irritations such as acne, skin sores and rashes. One of the many reasons we chose to use willow root is its moisture absorbing properties.

Beeswax
Beeswax is incredibly moisturizing and can help protect the skin from dryness. It also helps keep the deodorant in a solid form that makes it easy to apply.

Coconut oil
Coconut oil is a wonderful product to use as a base for our deodorant because it is antibacterial, thus helping to fight the bacteria that make your armpits smell when you sweat.

Corn flour

Corn flour is also known as corn starch. Cornmeal's ability to absorb moisture makes it an excellent ingredient for a natural deodorant.

Diatomaceous earth

Diatomaceous earth also known as Diatomaceous Earth or D.E. is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock whose odor-eliminating properties make it an effective ingredient in our baking soda-free deodorant. DE is almost perfectly pH neutral, meaning it won't irritate skin sensitive to acidic or alkaline levelsr

Jojoba oil
Jojoba has the same molecular structure as the natural sebaceous glands in our skin. In addition, jojoba oil contains a high amount of iodine, which fights bacterial growth. It is full of vitamins B and E.

Magnesium hydroxide

Magnesium hydroxide balances the body's natural pH and is therefore good for sensitive skin. It kills odor-causing bacteria without reducing skin moisture or causing skin damage and is therefore perfect for our Eau Claire deodorants.

Shea butter
Shea butter is naturally antibacterial, thus helping to remove the bacteria that can build up under your arms that can cause odor. It's also non-comedogenic, unlike many other moisturisers, and therefore won't clog your pores.

Sodium Bicarbonate
Sodium Bicarbonate is a strong antibacterial agent and helps prevent infections and odors. By removing underarm bacteria, it prevents the formation of body odor. High quality Sodium Bicarbonate is made from naturally occurring products such as limestone and coke.

Soybean wax
Soybean wax is rich in vitamin E, a nutrient that can help promote skin health. It protects against inflammation and helps the skin retain moisture. Being a wax, it helps combine the other ingredients that give our deodorant the perfect texture. Soybean wax is also vegan and is the best alternative to beeswax.

Sunflower oil
Sunflower oil is rich in vitamin A and vitamin E which help promote skin health. These vitamins act as antioxidants. They help regenerate damaged skin cells and get rid of bacteria. The oil is light and non-greasy and thus easily absorbed into the skin without clogging the pores.

Zinc Ricinoleate
Zinc ricinoleate is an important fatty acid found in castor seed oil extracted from the seeds of the ricinus communis plant. This ingredient absorbs odor molecules, making it a very effective natural deodorizer.
